Our Services

Three ways to work with us, each with a clear scope.

Our Approach

How we structure our engagements

Each of our three engagements begins with a short preparation phase — a written brief, a context exchange, and a clear description of what the engagement will produce. This is followed by an inquiry phase, which varies by engagement type, and a synthesis phase that culminates in a specific written deliverable.

The structure is designed to keep our attention focused on what matters for each particular organisation. We do not combine engagements, run concurrent work with competing clients, or extend scope without agreement.

PHASE 1

Preparation

Written brief exchange, context review, scope confirmation

PHASE 2

Inquiry

Observation, conversations, research, or facilitated session

PHASE 3

Synthesis

Written deliverable, reflective conversation, engagement close

Innovation Practice Review

Service 01

Innovation Practice Review

A considered examination of how your organisation currently approaches new ideas — where they originate, who tends them, and how they either find their way forward or are set gently aside. We speak with colleagues across functions, read through recent internal initiatives, and observe a handful of innovation-related meetings.

Structured conversations across functions and seniority levels
Document and initiative review
Direct meeting observation
Written reflection delivered as a reading document
Small set of discussion questions for leadership
Suited to established organisations. Not designed for early-stage or pre-revenue firms.

2

Opportunity Exploration Engagement

Service 02

Opportunity Exploration Engagement

Tailored support for leadership teams examining a specific area of possibility — a new category, a new audience, or an adjacent offering. We work in close collaboration with your team, carrying out measured desk research, conducting a small set of conversations with practitioners or potential users, and synthesising findings into a clear written exploration.

Measured desk research on the defined opportunity area
Conversations with practitioners or prospective users
Written opportunity note with synthesis and observations
Short sequencing sketch for initial next steps
Reflective conversation with leadership on findings
Typically delivered over six to eight weeks, depending on access to research participants.

Innovation Planning Session

Service 03

Innovation Planning Session

A compact engagement for teams preparing to begin a piece of innovation work and wishing to think it through carefully before starting. Before the session we read any relevant context you share and exchange a short written brief. The planning session itself, lasting three hours, is structured around what you hope to learn, how you might go about learning it, and what a considered first phase might look like.

Pre-session context review and written brief exchange
Structured three-hour in-person or remote session
Discussion of goals, methods, and first-phase scope
Brief written summary delivered within three working days
Often used as a single, self-contained engagement. Also serves as a natural first step before a larger Opportunity Exploration.

WORKSHOP SUMMARY — HOW THIS TYPICALLY UNFOLDS

1

Written brief and context exchange (Days 1–3)

2

Three-hour planning session (Day 5–7)

3

Written summary delivered (Within 3 working days of session)
